I have a plot which was root grub infected.Hence I wont use any organic fertilizers here. What I use is a lot of chemical pesticides and inorganic fertilizers. These earth worms were collected from there.

actually it is not like that.Earthworms may die due to insecticide application, but it's eggs wont be affected. Later it will hatch and we see new earth worms. One has to see the number of earth worms in my plot to believe it.And every pesticide has it's own life. Later it will disintegrate. It is the power of the soil. Those things which the soil can't disintegrate, like ddt ,is considered as dangerous.Normally soil took one to two month to disintegrate the pesticides.Hence almost all insecticide has the label printed on it -use after two months of application. And I was told that there are bacterias which survives on insecticide. Those bacterias eat the insecticide. If we applied more and more insecticide with less frequency the number of those bacterias increases and ultimately insecticide will disappear from the soil within a few days.Hence the warning is that never resort to over dosage.

: My understanding is that it is a dangerous play with the soil and nature. Every thing in nature shows tolerance to external harmful elements till some extent. That is why even after man harmed nature for thousands of years for expand of agriculture etc, the nature was still functional. But you see now, the harm has exceeded the threshold. Now the devastating results of raping of nature is coming out in the form of irregular rain, increased tremors, frequent cyclones, bacterial resistance to drugs, decreased health condition of human, mental imbalance in general population, unbearable pollution of soil, water and air, unbearable temperature increase etc etc to name the few. This is the result of over-exploitation and repeated harming of nature. If I understand what you said about you plot, yes, the plot must have some ability to overcome the pesticides you apply, but to think that this ability is infinite would be suicidal. Eventually your soil will give up at some point of time, just like the nature has given up the tolerance now. Be warned about it.

The root grub problem is now under control, thanks to the guidance from the G.K.V.K.entomologist Dr.A.R.V.Kumar. When the root grub problem was identified in my plot I was a organic farmer.I was using farm yard manure, had several buffaloes in my cowshed.Later due to the shortage of worker's I had to sell it.Now I had no other choice but to apply inorganic fertilizer's.This for two things, workers shortage and high price for the organic manures available in the market. Normally farmers do not face acute problems in their farms. Then they can adopt organic farming easily. But I am sure if they had to face acute problems ,just like I had to face, most of the organic farmers apply chemicals to their plot without any hesitation. And some persons have skepticism about scientists. But with the help of Dr. Kumar I actually reduced the dependence on insecticide. And for the change in climate I cant' agree with you, because in my opinion change is the rule of the nature. Excessive dependence upon the chemicals started only in the last century. But we could observe the change in the nature from time immemorial.

: Good to know that you have been benefited from scientists. They are supposed to help. I agree for acute problems you have to go the route whichever helps you. And regarding climate change, I think you haven't understood what I said. I was talking about the over exploitation of natural resources (forest, water, air etc) which is resulting all the climate changes. Not due to chemical application.
