wikipidea&www.indianagarwood.com. it is mostly grown in south east asia.some company people had approached few farmers in puttur some years back on growing agarwood but farmers were not interested in it.

    • Ramesh Delampady if Agarwood is so profitable as its proponents were claiming, then why farmers in Assam not growing it as a plantation crop?

    • Prashantha Konkodi Even I am studying little on the Agar wood. I see only one company saying they can buy from Farmer..

      But I cannot grow Agar by trusting one company. What if it is closed.. where I will sell it!!!!. It is risky business
